Seeing as we must act on climate change now and creating a new story could get more people involved, BVA supports Place to B and its refreshing ambition to write this new story.

This is part of the BVA Earth project seeking to accompany and accelerate the move towards a more sustainable world.
BVA is ranked the 3rd research institute in France and is in the top 25 in the world.

The Conversation is a new, independent, online information and news analysis organisation that publishes articles for the general public written by researchers and academics. Its team of experienced journalists works in collaboration with universities and research institutes in order to spread their knowledge to a wider audience.

Their goal is to improve knowledge of current affairs and more complex subjects in the hope of feeding public debate.

The Conversation was launched in Australia in March 2011, in the United Kingdom in May 2013, in the USA in November 2014, in Africa in June 2015 and in France in September 2015.

The Conversation France is proud to associate itself with Place to B to promote a challenging and creative new approach to climate concerns.

Interpreting, explaining, discovering, sharing… so that the climate becomes everyone’s business.

ADEME aims to develop solutions that contribute to the fight against climate change – innovative technological solutions as good practice. With this objective in mind, ADEME supports the work of various actors (the scientific community, businesses, collectives, associations) in technical, cultural and artistic fields.

In supporting Place to B, ADEME participates in the citizen involvement movement.

Shedding light on concrete solutions and getting people involved are common goals of ADEME and Place to B.

As a public establishment under the supervision of the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy and the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, the Environment and Energy Agency (ADEME) is involved in the implementation of public policy on the environment, energy and sustainable development. In order to advance its environmental work, the agency provides its expertise and advice to businesses, collectives and public entities. It also helps finance projects from the research stage to implementation in waste management, soil conservation, energy efficiency and renewable energy, air quality and noise pollution.

Sustainable development and respect for the environment are Le bon coin’s priorities. Ensuring a “greener” future is the best way to develop our capital and to sustain our resources. Through its position as a network and digital services operator, and through the expertise and commitment of its employees, Orange works to make a digital progress accelerator for all. It envisages the digital revolution with essential environmental rigor, but also with an enthusiasm that encourages imagination and a different way of thinking about the world, in particular in terms of combating the climate challenge.

As believer in open and collaborative models, Orange joined the Place to B community along with bloggers, journalists, photographers, designers, youtubers and entrepreneurs. They work together to tell the story of the climate challenge and to talk about innovations, usually technological, which make everyone responsible for and capable of acting.
