Anne-Sophie Novel is the founder of Place to B. As a blogger, journalist and author specializing in alternatives and collaborative economics, she watched the Copenhagen negotiations in 2009 live from the Fresh Air Centre. This innovative place of activism 2.0 was so rich in encounters and bubbling with intellectuality that it was impossible for Anne-Sophie not to do the same in 2015 when she offered a similar dynamic and energy for COP21 in Paris. Nicolas Bienvenu is the managing director at Place to B.
In 2009 he founded Territoires d’Evénements, which he has managed ever since. This consultancy firm helps businesses, organisations and collectives with their projects, from defining strategies or concepts to the implementation of operations on the ground. For the last four years he has also been in charge of the national launch and promotion of the “Social and Solidarity Economy Month” as well as numerous other land development projects.

HEAD OF IDEAS LABORATORY THE BASELINE
Marie joined the Place to B project in September 2015. As official Community Manager, she was in charge of mobilizing and uniting the international community brought together through the unique experience of COP21. Many journalists, writers, the media, citizens and artists are linked to Marie through Facebook, Twitter, mailing lists, the Place to B Newsletter and other channels of communication. While Marie’s main objectives have been to do with the project’s digital communications, she is now diversifying. Impassioned by the challenges facing the work of researchers in facilitating the understanding of climate change and the ecological transition, she is charge charge of the ideas laboratory The Baseline.
Sami CHEIKH MOUSSA
HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT AND PARTNERS
Sami Cheikh Moussa is in charge of Place to B’s development and is the first point of contact for our partners. After receiving his degree in engineering at Telecom SudParis, he worked for five years as a consultant in Digital Innovation and Telecommunications for some of the biggest French enterprises. Wanting to make a career move and work on projects in France and abroad, he returned to his studies at the School of Sciences Po in Paris to study sustainable development and aid, specializing in environmental, climate and energy.
He met Anne-Sophie Novel and Nicolas Bienvenu during his studies and agreed to take a leading role in Place to B COP21, in charge of technical issues, accommodation and welcoming the community. Ever enthusiastic about accompanying the development of the project over the coming years, he now works with our partners so that Place to B can revolutionize the way people talk about the climate and the ecological transition!
